Since 2005 our flood doors have been in continuous development, and have now evolved to produce a unique mechanical locking & sealing system which have given numerous households in flood risk areas across the country the peace of mind we all take for granted.

Flash Flood Doors are bespoke, made to measure, with a choice of colours and styles, with tested superior locking system fitted as standard, providing added security for your home.

On 22nd June 2012, parts of Wigan in Greater Manchester area experienced an unprecedented rainfall which resulted in a flash flood event. During the height of the flood, two single Flash Flood inward opening doors, one of which was installed in August 2010, experienced between 300mm and 500mm height of water lapping against them, The homeowners account who witnessed the event from inside the property, confirmed that throughout the event the doors held the water back and no water came through either of the doors.

In December 2011 our door's combination locking system met the 10 years fifty thousand Cycle life expectancy test.

In November 2011 we gained ISO 9001 Quality Standard accreditation.

In March 2011 our doors satisfied the requirements of British Standards Institution's PAS 1188-1 2009 Kitemark licensing requirements and are now the only Patented Kitemark Licensed flood doors in UK.

This area has been prone to flooding particularly Marsh Road, where intense rainfall upstream of Boundary Brook has produced flash flooding, which has arrived without warning and disappeared within 30 minutes.
